Women's Tennis 2010 State Dual Team Finals Pictures

Charlotte Catholic High School, coached by Jo Cabana, won the 2010 3-A women's tennis dual team state championship.

Raleigh Broughton High School, coached by David Rose, won the 2010 4-A women's tennis dual team state championship.

This is the sign that high school tennis players from across the state hope to see on the last Saturday of the season at the annual state dual team championships in Burlington.

Andy Fowler, the director of the dual team state championship tournament for all four classifications, goes over the rules with the 3-A players on Saturday afternoon at the Burlington Tennis Center before play begins.   Fowler is the former men's tennis coach at Raleigh Sanderson High School.

Mount Airy head coach Scott Kniskern and his wife Andrea "McCoach" Kniskern try to stay warm before the start of doubles on Saturday, November 6th at the 1-A state dual team tennis championships at the Burlington Tennis Center.

 Salisbury High School, coached by Chris Myers, won the 2010 2-A women's tennis dual team state championship.   The Lady Hornets have been in the state finals for six consecutive years.

Janice Wong returns a forehand for the state champion Lady Unicorns of the North Carolina School of Science and Math in the number one doubles match in the 1-A state finals on Saturday, November 4th at the Burlington Tennis Center.   Wong played #3 singles for the Lady Unicorns.
