Tennis Tidbits
*Former Maiden High School women's tennis coach Jon Huffman has resigned as the technologist for the North Carolina High School Tennis Coaches Association. Huffman has held that position since January of 2013.
*James Hawley is the new men's tennis coach at Charles B. Aycock High School.
*Connor Wilkins is the new men's tennis coach at Research Triangle High School. Wilkins starred at Washington High School in his younger years.
*Buzz Cook of T.C. Roberson High School will serve as one of the voters for the NCHSTCA 4-A men's tennis poll this spring.
*New Bern Golf and Country Club tennis director Bill Jones is retiring after many years in that position.
*Thomas Mozur is the new Head Tennis Pro at New Bern Golf and Country Club. Mozur, who played four years at the University of Tennessee and was captain of the team his senior year, is coming to New Bern from the Carolina Country Club in Raleigh.
*Jarrett Walls has resigned as the men's and women's tennis coach at South Garner High School.
*The latest edition of The Little Green Book of Tennis written by Hall of Fame coach Tom Parham is now available for free at https://docs.google.com/document/d/1IstkubA3qBwoJITAtqa2j1l5TW8hc2Myx_6_ZIwGqOs/edit?usp=sharing

*Coaches can now order their spring team catalog at teamconnection.com. Team Connection sponsors the NCHSTCA All-State and All-Region teams.
*High school tennis players can play in their first USTA junior tennis tournament for free if they choose an L6 or L7 Tournament and join USTA. Check out https://nctennis.com/node/154 for more information.
