Wilmington Hosting Port City Invitational

 Some of the state's top tennis powers will be gathered in Wilmington this weekend for the annual Port City Invitational.    Myrtle Beach, South Carolina (last year's 3-A South Carolina state champion) will join Raleigh Broughton and East Chapel Hill as the "outsiders" in the tournament that also includes Wilmington area schools John T. Hoggard, E.A. Laney, Eugene Ashley, New Hanover, and Cape Fear Academy.  Wilmington New Hanover head coach David Henry is the director of the event.   Each team will play once on Friday and twice on Saturday in the compass draw event.
