Wildcats Expecting 35 Out for First Practice

East Chapel Hill High School Lindsey Linker is expecting 35 players out for the first practice on Monday, February 14th at 4:00 p.m.   Coach Linker plans to keep 12 players on the varsity and 12-14 on the junior varsity.   The Wildcats have five returning starters from the 2010 squad that won the PAC-6 Conference championship.   The returnees include senior Peter McDonald who finished second in the 4-A singles tournament last year and Sam Weissler.   Kassim Alani may be back for his senior year, and several promising newcomers will fight for the remaining spots.    Coach Linker is starting her 13th season at the helm of the Wildcats' program.
