Vestavia Hills Nips Crusaders 4-3 in DecoTurf Finals

Vestavia Hills High School of Alabama won the doubles point to pull out a 4-3 victory over Cardinal Gibbons in the championship match of the DecoTurf High School Team Championships in Louisville, Kentucky on Saturday, March 26th.   Vestavia Hills improved to 9-1 with the win.   The Crusaders, ranked number one in North Carolina in 3-A and coached by Andrew Tuttle, dropped to 11-2 with the loss.   The Crusaders' Matt Daly was named the Most Valuable Player of the Tournament.  Daly went 4-0 at number one singles in the event.

Also, Matt Daly was named Tournament MVP for going 4-0 at #1 singles during the tournament
