Undefeated Green Hope Advances to State Quarterfinals with Another 5-4 Win

Undefeated Green Hope advanced to the 4-A state quarterfinals with its second consecutive 5-4 decision in the dual team state playoffs, downing East Chapel Hill on Tuesday, May 11th.   Green Hope, coached by Kevin Taylor and ranked number three in the state in 4-A, improved to 19-0 with the victory.  East Chapel Hill, coached by Lindsey Linker and ranked number seven in the state, finished its season with a 17-5 overall record.    The match came down to number three doubles where Green Hope's Jack Jin and Luke Wickelgrin prevailed 11-9.
