Newton-Conover Repeats as 2-A Champion

Newton-Conover High School, coached by Brian Tate, won its second consecutive 2-A men's tennis state championship with a 6-0 victory over Durhan School of the Arts.  The Durham squad, making its first state final appearance, under the direction of coach Laurence Isaacs, finished its season 16-6.   The Red Devils, in the state 2-A finals for the fifth consecutive year, finished up 25-2.
