Linker Named NCHSAA Coach of the Year

East Chapel Hill High School men's and women's tennis coach Lindsey Linker has been named the Doris Howard Female Coach of the Year by the North Carolina High School Athletic Association.     Linker was selected by the NCHSAA this year for her longtime excellence in coaching.   Coach Linker's teams have won 16 dual team state championships during her time at East Chapel Hill.   Her career record in men's and women's tennis is 787-102.   She has been named Coach of the Year by her conference 33 times.    Linker was also a charter member of the North Carolina High School Tennis Coaches Association, and she has served as the secretary of the organization since its inception.   She received the award at the annual NCHSAA meeting on Thursday, May 6th.
