Lady Rams Hold First Practice

 The Greene Central Lady Rams began preparation for the 2010 season on Monday, August 2nd.   The team practiced from 5:45 until 9:00.    Greene Central will carry six players on its 2010 varsity squad, including its only returning starter Lauren Carraway.   Carraway, a two-time All-State performer, played number one on the 2009 2-A state finalist squad.   The other members of the squad are Hayes Lovett, Brittany Colie, Kayla Radford, Jessica Hatch, and Laurie Sutton.  "I'm really looking forward to the season.  We are certainly going to be rebuilding with five new starters, but this is a really nice group of girls and I know they are going to get better as the season progresses," said head coach Donald Clark.    Greene Central will begin challenge matches on August 3rd.  The Lady Rams will be participating in the Greene Central Super Scrimmage Extravaganza #2 on Saturday, August 7th.
