Gates County Expecting 23 for Tryouts

Gates County High School will begin practice on Monday, February 14th.   Nathan Brown will be returning for his sixth season at the school.   He is expecting 23 out for the first practice and plans to keep 15.    Gates County returns four starters off of the 2010 Tar Roanoke Conference champion squad.   "With the returning players from last year and the new athletic talent trying out, we hope to win the Tar Roanoke again," said Brown.
