Concord Tennis Association Hosting Fundraising Event on May 22nd

The Concord Tennis Association and Vibe Community Tennis will be hosting a fundraising event on Saturday, May 22nd to raise money for community tennis outreach programs in Cabarrus County.   The event is being held at Les Myers Park in Concord from 9:30 until 2:00.   CTA is asking for a $35.00 donation on the day of the event, but players can reserve a spot before May 22nd for $30.   Players will participate in "Thrills and Drills" with Larry Zerbe, Chad Oxendine, Jack Thompson, and other tennis pros and aces from 9:30 to 11:30.   A light lunch will be served from 11:30 until 12:30.  Participants will play doubles with the pros and aces from 12:30 to 2:00.  Checks should be made payable to Concord Tennis Association (it is tax deductible).  Payments can be mailed to Rena Goolsby at 501 McCready Street, Concord, N.C. 28025.  For more information contact McCready at 704-773-1586 or rlgoolsby@carolina.rr.com.
